We love the entire Papamahi collection. Every now and then we come across pieces that are extra special. These pieces are Taonga (tow-ohng-ah), our word for treasure, and have extraordinary qualities. For example, some of the current gallery collection is made from Ancient Kauri, a native wood that is recovered from swamps and is 45,000-50,000 years old - the world's oldest workable wood.
