silver inlay bowl

This bowl is made from maire that is ebonized to give it a very dark hue.  The wide edge features and inner and outer combination.  The outer is rumbled and accentuated with patinating wax.  The inner has a number of silver point inlays. 

The underside of the bowl features  concentric circles that finish on a small pedestal base.  The overall effect is a stunning piece that is timeless fitting most settings with ease.
